Established in 2021, Deep Dive Istanbul has emerged as a leading beacon for aquatic sports in the heart of Turkey. We are a specialized academy dedicated to merging academic expertise with athletic passion through comprehensive programs, including:
Professional Diving: Comprehensive tracks for both Scuba Diving and Freediving.
Swimming Academy: Customized programs for adults and children, following international standards.

Capt. Ayhan Kasap
Senior International Instructor
A prominent member of the Turkish Underwater Sports Federation (TSSF) with a record of participating in over 25 world championships.
Captain Ayhan is a master in Spearfishing, Freediving, and Scuba Diving.
He also serves as a volunteer captain with the Turkish Disaster and Emergency Management Authority (AFAD) and is a certified first-aid specialist, ensuring unparalleled safety for all our trainees.
Capt. Özkan Arsu
National Team Coach
A graduate of Trakya University (1999) and an aquatic sports expert since 1995.
Captain Özkan has served as a regional representative for underwater sports and specializes in Technical and Deep Diving.
Holding certifications from top international organizations, he is the primary reference for preparing professional divers for advanced certifications.
Prof. Iris Işık
Academic Professor & International Coach
A former national athlete and champion in Swimming and Triathlon (2001–2012). She served as the coach for the National Paralympic Swimming Team at the Rio 2016 Olympics.
Holding a Master’s degree from the Sofia Sports Academy and currently a PhD researcher, she manages the Velisbit Sports Club, bringing over 20 years of combined academic and field experience.
Capt. Ahmed Al-Atawneh
Rescue & Disaster Management Expert
An academic professor of swimming and President of the Palestinian Academy for Aquatic Sports in Istanbul.
Captain Ahmed serves as the International Relations Officer for the Palestinian Swimming Federation.
He is a certified International Diving and Rescue Instructor (EU certified), dedicated to ensuring a training environment that adheres to the highest global safety protocols.
